Romantic February wedding amongst Spectacular blanket of snowdrops
Is February a good month for a wedding?
It certainly is…
First of all, as we all know, it’s a lovers month with well known Valentine’s Day on 14th of February. And in this case, 14th was Kirsty’s (the bride) birthday. So this day was very special.
Secondly, in February the first flowers appear in woods and parks to make the scenery super pretty. In England, there are many places to see snowdrops in bloom.
One of them is a Rococo Garden in Painswick near Stroud.
Top secret…
This wedding was even more special, because it was a big secret. Only the bride, groom, their witnesses, a hairdresser, videographer and me knew about it.
Kirsty and Ben planned to take off for a honeymoon the day after the wedding.
But before they could do it, they had to do a covid test life, via FaceTime, 24 hours before their flight, which was literally minutes before the ceremony started. And hey did it in the car on the registry office car park.
The ceremony was super intimate but fun.
Gladly, everything went smooth, the test was negative and they both said yes!
After the ceremony, they went for a romantic walk in stunning Rococo Gardens, and I followed them like a professional paparazzi ;)
I absolutely love Kirsty and Ben’s love story and felt so honoured to be invited to capture it.
We all have a story to tell.
What’s yours?
