How much for a family photoshoot in 2025?
This is a question I get a lot and unfortunately there is no one answer to this.
There are different types of photo sessions and they can have different prices. Also depending on the photographer, their experience, editing style, gear, or sadly but also their self worth, the prices may vary.

Where do I begin? Magda is not only a truly talented photographer but she is also a warm, fun and caring person. I first met Magda when she took my maternity photographs. Magda took us on an adventurous photoshoot throughout the Cotswolds flower fields and magical Broadway Tower. The photos came out incredible!! I will cherish those photos forever. I also had my newborn photoshoot with Magda. Magda came to our house and the entire process of making memories was relaxed and fun. Looking at my photos brings me back to that moment holding my one week son. It was such a peaceful feeling that I forgot we were taking pictures. Since then I have had two Christmas photoshoots with Magda and a Mother’s Day photoshoot as well. Our family see Magda as a friend. We are grateful to have met her and to make beautiful memories through her photographs. I highly recommend Magda for all of your photography needs.

Magda is a real gem . Honestly, this lady deserves to be framed and kept forever. Apart from being an extremely talented photographer, she is genuine, warm and extremely caring human being. She shared our excitement and embraced our whole M&M love story. She became a wonderful part of our lives and our family . She really is the most adorable and talented photographer any person would ever wish to meet . The preparation she put in to ensure she captured the most fascinating memories was above and beyond. Time was no issue for Magda as she made it all about us ! Our wedding pictures are everything and more . She really captured our day perfectly without the typical staged and artificial stereotype. The pictures were unique and bespoke to our special day. All we wanted was a day full of simplicity but capturing the love , fun and laughter shared with our family and friends. Magda is a super talented photographer in so many ways - we booked a newborn photoshoot with her and she was so patient with our little one plus our dog! She brought props, backdrops and made our living room look like a photography studio! I must say her editing style is absolutely beautiful and the reason why I decided to book her in the first place, as she makes images look like paintings! I will definitely be booking her again in future, I am extremely happy with our photos and I cannot wait to put them up in our home.

Why do professional photographers charge so much?
In this day and age of point-and-click digital photography, it can seem like a professional photographer may charge a lot of money for their work. However, there is a lot more that I do than meets the eye. I sometimes have to research locations or book studios and also have a huge selection of props, maternity gowns and costumes that my clients can use. In addition, there is a lot of creativity and time involved in bringing a photo together including consultations with future parents, mums or families to understand what their vision is and how they would like to be photographed.. Finally, there is a lot of post-production that can be required to make your photo not just good but perfect and unique.
How long is a session?
A session time can vary and will depend on the type of photography. For instance, a family or maternity photo shoot is very much a set time session of 1-2 hours. However, newborn photography takes a lot longer, usually 3-4 hours including the breaks for feeding and changing the baby.
